Williams Baptist University in Walnut Ridge, Ark., offers the Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Psychology.
In order to meet the various needs of persons interested in psychology, the department offers three separate tracks in psychology.
- Track I is designed for students seeking a professional career in psychology that would necessitate graduate work in the field. Occupation options for these students include clinical work, professional counseling, development psychology (child, adolescent, and aging), psychological research, social psychology, organizational-industrial psychology, mental health, and environmental psychology.
- Track II is designed for students whose career goals do not require graduate work. Occupational options for these students include law enforcement, ministry, law school or business.
- Track III is designed for students interested in working with the family whether in private counseling, in a church or social setting. It was created to address concerns over issues facing the family today.
