Job Description: To assist the office staff in executing duties and responsibilities of the Admissions Office.  Duties may include, but are not limited to: filing, assisting with student mailings, answering student phone calls, greeting students as they come to the admissions office, answering general admissions questions, and other general office duties as directed.

Job Description: Duties will include setup, removal, and storage of materials used for special events on campus.  May work in multiple locations on campus.  Job could include but not limited to things such as blowing walks, weeding, planting, mowing, and fertilizing. Duties may include cleaning offices, classrooms, common areas, lavatories, halls, and any other areas that may require attention.  Empties trash and garbage containers. Replenishes supplies.  May perform routine equipment maintenance and make minor repairs. May drive a golf cart or other vehicles.  Moves furniture and sets-up tables and chairs. Notifies supervisor concerning need for major repairs.  May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.   

General Qualifications:  Knowledge of garden equipment such as mowers and utility carts would be helpful.  Ability to learn and use established techniques for the efficient and compliant completion of duties.  Good attention to detail. Job Description: To be of access to all members of the music department as well as perform secretarial duties. Organize and maintain the band repertoire library, make folders for instrumental ensembles, assist with concert band/wind ensemble set-up, etc. (Must be a music major or minor.)  Student will file music, photocopy, answer phone and supervise music lab.  Assist with choir and music department items, copy music for the music department.  The work study employee will speak with each faculty member of the music department on a regular basis to see if there is work to be done, and perform tasks as assigned by faculty.

Job Description:  Assist the Sports Information Director with in-game statistics and proper distribution of post-game box scores to coaches and media. Will also submit statistics to the NAIA following competition. Filming home games for WBU, provide game-day statistics at home contests, take action and candid photos of sporting events.  Work is seasonal and by sport. Evenings and weekends required.

Job Description: The applicant will be responsible for monitoring the students during testing. They are responsible for creating an ideal environment for testing while ensuring honesty and integrity when proctoring tests. While students are not testing, they will be required to help with special library assignments that arise during their shift.

General Qualifications:  Students interested in positions in the test proctor position should be reliable and responsible. They need to have integrity and communication skills in order to create an ideal testing environment. The student should be detail oriented and possess strong filing skills, basic computer skills, and average typing ability, and demonstrate good initiative in completing tasks.

Job Description: Tutoring duties will be year long.  The applicant must be willing to help, answer questions, and provide strategies, but WILL NOT complete any assignments for other students.  SSC staff will be friendly and approachable, greeting each person who walks in the building.  They will respond quickly to requests for tutoring appointments, monitor the integrity of our sign in and out policies, and communicate often with the Director of the Student Success Center. Tutoring will be offered in person and via zoom Monday through Saturday, and can be offered through study groups or one-on-one. Staff should be willing to keep the SSC clean, reasonably quiet, and academically focused.

In the Fall semester, SSC staff also serve as Peer Mentors for first time entering freshmen who have been admitted on a conditional or probationary basis.  Through the semester, mentors will contact their assigned freshmen several times, making sure to see them face to face each week.  The Director of the SSC center will provide a mentoring schedule and important information to cover during the semester.  Mentoring can be done any time, not just during scheduled work hours in the SSC. Mentors will be expected to be a point of contact for their students, and communicate any problems to the Director of the Student Success Center.  A Christmas party for all mentors and mentees will conclude the Peer Mentoring Program.  

General Qualifications: The student must be a sophomore, junior, or senior who has a minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA. They need to have the ability and willingness to talk face to face, communicate through text, and video conference. They need to be able to answer questions accurately and be able to work with a diverse population of students. They must maintain the highest levels of confidentiality, be self motivated, and be able to work both independently and with groups.
