The Williams Teacher Education Program (WTEP) prepares professional educators who are intentional, reflective and growing in their teaching practice. The WTEP was fully accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) in 2015 and is eligible for accreditation by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP). The CAEP accreditation site visit is scheduled for spring 2022. All programs listed below are also approved by the Arkansas Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) through a process of state program review.

All WTEP programs prepare candidates to meet licensure requirements in Arkansas. Teacher licensure regulations vary by state, but WTEP completers routinely have their licenses reciprocated by other states. Check the Department of Education website in your state for the state’s rules for reciprocity.
