Great Commission Studies

Williams Baptist University offers a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Great Commission Studies that focuses on preparing students for vocational work in evangelism, missions, and church planting.

This specialization combines basic church leadership skills with studies in Bible, theology, and ministry. To further prepare students for such vocational careers, the specialization requires an internship in missions or church planting. Upon completion of this degree.

Students will be able to communicate the message of the Bible in its historical, literary, and theological contexts (Orthodoxy).

Students will be able to apply vital skills needed in church planting, international missions, or parachurch ministries (Orthopraxy).

Students will be able to employ ongoing intellectual, emotional, physical, spiritual, and professional development as ministers of the gospel (Orthopathy).
