Bethany Dorton of Judsonia, Ark., will perform her senior recital at Williams Baptist University on Thursday, April 19.  The performance begins at 7 p.m., in the choral room of WBU’s Maddox Center.

Dorton’s recital will be a compilation of music from composers such as Giacomo Puccini, Franz Schubert, Andrew Lloyd Webber and Richard Rogers.

The senior music education major is the daughter of Tony and Beth Dorton of Judsonia.

Students majoring in music, church music or music education at Williams present senior recitals as part of their requirements for graduation. The public is invited to the recital and there is no cost to attend.

Williams is a Christian university in Walnut Ridge.  It will officially become Williams Baptist University in July.
