Williams Inducts Four into Phi Alpha Theta

The History Department at Williams Baptist University has inducted four students into the Alpha Zeta Xi chapter of the national Phi Alpha Theta History Honor Society.  The ceremony was held on March 28 at the Wings of Honor World War II Museum in Walnut Ridge.

New inductees are Erika Isbill of Jonesboro, Ark., Marshall Tyree of Elizabeth, Ark., Brandon Brigance of Gentry, Ark., and Rodney Duncan of Cherokee Village, Ark.
Students selected for Phi Alpha Theta are in the top tier of their universities and must maintain no less than a 3.1 GPA in at least 12 hours of history coursework and a 3.0 minimum GPA overall.  

Williams is a Christian, liberal arts university in Walnut Ridge, Ark.  It will become Williams Baptist University in July of 2018.
