WBU Presents Service Awards

Williams Baptist University has recognized several employees who have reached milestones of service at the university. Service pins were presented during WBU’s Employee Service Award Banquet on Dec. 11.

Pins for 15 years of service were presented to John Mayberry and James Parsons. Mayberry is head coach of the Lady Eagles basketball team, while Parsons is part of the lawn and landscaping team.

Honored for 10 years of service were Jana Himschoot and Dr. Chris Polachic. Himschoot is an assistant professor of business, while Polachic is an associate professor of physics. 

And receiving pins for five years at WBU were Jared Dahl, Dr. Chris Hair, Steve Ring, Dr. Marvin Schoenecke and Shannon Tolson. Dahl is assistant head baseball coach, while Hair is chair of the division of arts & sciences, chair of the department of English and professor of English. Ring is an IT technician, Schoenecke is executive vice president for student life and operations, and Tolson is administrative assistant to the president.
