Williams Baptist University will be closed on Wednesday, January 28, 2026. All in-person classes are canceled, and university offices will be closed.
Students should check their WBU student accounts for guidance from instructors regarding class expectations and assignments.
WBU welcomes Pastor Jason Glenn and the Worship Team, who will lead worship at 11:00 a.m. in Manley Chapel.
Mabee-Gwinup Cafeteria will operate on a modified schedule and will serve brunch 10:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. and dinner 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. The student dining hall will remain open between brunch and dinner with coffee and hot chocolate available. The Eagle Grill will be closed. This will remain the schedule until campus resumes normal operations.
Williams Works students and student-athletes should communicate directly with their work supervisors and coaches for updates on work responsibilities, practices, and game schedules.
Essential personnel should contact their supervisors for further instructions.
Students and staff are urged to use extreme caution when driving or walking on campus, as slick conditions may be present. If travel is necessary, please use caution and remain aware that road conditions may be hazardous. For the latest weather updates, follow local news outlets or the National Weather Service.
University officials will continue to monitor conditions and will provide updates regarding any future delays or cancellations. WBU expects to reopen on Thursday.
