Staton and Guiltner Inducted Into Theta Alpha Kappa

Alisa Staton of Sherwood, Ark. and Jonathan Guiltner of Melbourne, Ark., have been inducted into Theta Alpha Kappa, the national honor society for religious studies and theology.  

Staton and Guiltner were inducted into the Alpha Delta Omicron chapter of the society at Williams Baptist University during the Christian Ministries Banquet held April 24.

Students selected for membership in Theta Alpha Kappa must be of high academic standing and rank in the top 35% of their class.  The society requires that inductees have completed 12 semester hours of upper level religion courses, obtain a 3.5 grade point average in these courses, and carry an overall grade point average of at least 3.0.

Staton is a junior at Williams majoring in religious education. She is the daughter of Darren and Jill Staton of Sherwood.

Guiltner is a junior at Williams majoring in liberal arts and minoring in Christian ministries. He is the son of Roy and Beverly Guiltner of Melbourne.

Williams is a Christian, liberal arts university in Walnut Ridge, Ark.  It will become Williams Baptist University this summer.
