Nick Powell of Lynn, Ark., and Logan Tharp of Pocahontas, Ark., were recognized as the department’s academic award winners based on their work in the classroom. They will be formally recognized during the academic awards banquet held later this month and have their name engraved upon a plaque in the Sloan Center honoring the other past winners.
