WBU Announces New Appointments to Admissions, Financial Aid Offices

Williams Baptist University has announced the appointment of Tonya Bolton as associate vice president of enrollment management, Crystal Tabor as assistant director of admissions, and Darrell Tabor as director of financial aid.

Bolton, who has worked at WBU for over 25 years, brings extensive experience and a deep commitment to student success. She has served as registrar and most recently as director of advising and athletic retention.

In her new role as associate vice president of enrollment management, Bolton will lead the university’s strategic efforts to attract, enroll, and retain students, ensuring that WBU continues to provide exceptional educational opportunities.

Crystal Tabor, a proud alumna of WBU, has a rich history with the institution. After graduating from WBU, she returned to contribute to the admissions team. Tabor’s passion for her alma mater and her experience in student recruitment make her a valuable asset in her new role as assistant director of admissions.

She will play a key role in engaging prospective students and guiding them through the admissions process. Tabor’s connection to the university is further strengthened by her husband, Darrell Tabor, who serves as WBU’s director of financial aid.

Darrell Tabor, also a WBU graduate, brings a unique blend of skills to his role as director of financial aid. His previous experience includes serving as a special agent for the Missouri Department of Revenue, where his expertise in financial document analysis and collaborative work with various law enforcement agencies will be invaluable in managing WBU’s financial aid programs and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

“We are thrilled to have Tonya, Crystal, and Darrell in these critical roles,” said Dr. Stan Norman, president of Williams Baptist University. “Their combined experience, dedication, and enthusiasm for WBU will be instrumental in advancing our mission and supporting our students from the moment they consider Williams Baptist University through their academic journey and beyond.”

WBU is a private Christian university in Walnut Ridge, Ark.
