Williams Baptist University has received a $2,500 gift to its annual scholarship fund from Robert Bosch Tool Company.  Steve Engelken, operations manager at the Walnut Ridge Bosch plant, and Tracy Brock, human resources manager at the plant, presented the check to Dr. Ken Startup, interim president at Williams, and Dr. Brett Cooper, WBU’s vice president for institutional advancement.

“The Robert Bosch Tool Company is a faithful friend and great neighbor to Williams. Their annual support of the WBU annual scholarship fund helps make a high quality, Christian university education possible for our students,” Startup said.

The Bosch Company operates a tool reconditioning facility in the Walnut Ridge Industrial Park.

Williams is a liberal arts college in Walnut Ridge.  It will formally become Williams Baptist University in July.
