Students Inducted Into Sigma Beta Delta

Nine students have been inducted into Sigma Beta Delta, the international honor society for business at Williams Baptist University. The induction ceremony was held March 28.

The new inductees are Kelly Cook of Pangburn, Anna Gage of Jonesboro, Grady Majors of Batesville; Fernando Moreto of Vitoria – ES, Brazil; Zachary Revier of Olivia, Minn.; Blessing Samuel of Walnut Ridge; Allen Thompson of Brighton, Ill.; Hannah Vernon of Warrensburg, Mo.; and Collin Whitney of Searcy.   

Sigma Beta Delta is open to college juniors and seniors in the field of business. To qualify for the honor society, the students must rank in the top 20 percent of their class and be invited to join by faculty of the college’s business department.

Williams is a liberal arts university in Walnut Ridge.  It will formally become Williams Baptist University in July.
