Harp To Receive Music Award

Williams Baptist University senior Cody Harp of Alma, Ark., has been chosen to receive a William Yick Collegiate Award.  The award was made possible by a gift to the Arkansas Federation of Music Clubs (AFMC) from Mr. William Yick, AFMC past president.  

Harp was chosen to receive the award by the Williams Baptist University music department.  He will be recognized at the AFMC State Convention in Texarkana, Ark., where he will be presented with a certificate and a monetary award.

Harp is the son of Kevin and Cristy Harp of Alma, Ark.

Williams is a Christian, liberal arts university in Walnut Ridge, Ark.  It will become Williams Baptist University in July.
