Graduation is May 4

More than 75 graduates will receive diplomas as Williams Baptist University holds commencement exercises on Saturday, May 4.  The ceremony begins at 10 a.m. in WBU’s Southerland-Mabee Center.

Dr. Sonny Tucker, executive director of the Arkansas Baptist State Convention, will bring the commencement address.

The graduation ceremony will mark the first time for WBU to award master’s degrees, as five graduates receive their Master of Arts in Teaching diplomas.  Williams began its MAT program in 2017, and has since expanded its graduate offerings to include the Master of Science in Education degree.

WBU is a private, Christian university in Walnut Ridge.
