Students Inducted into Alpha Chi at WBU

Seven students at Williams Baptist University have been inducted into Alpha Chi, the national college honor scholarship society.  The induction was held April 16 at WBU’s Academic Awards Banquet.

Alpha Chi admits members from all academic disciplines who are in the top 10 percent of their junior and senior classes.  The honor society has local chapters at over 300 colleges and universities around the United States.

Inductees were:

Kelsey Abney of Ash Flat, Ark. Abney, a junior at Williams, is majoring in biology.  She is the daughter of Dean and Patti Abney of Ash Flat.

Ashlyn Ellis of Pocahontas, Ark. Ellis, a junior at Williams, is majoring in elementary education.  She is the daughter of Denee and James Johnson of Pocahontas.

Caleb Hickman of Pine Bluff, Ark. Hickman, a senior at Williams, is majoring in biology.  He is the son of Kenneth and Mary Hickman of Pine Bluff.

Paige Johnson of Saffell, Ark. Johnson, a junior at Williams, is majoring in biology.  She is the daughter of Todd and Marnie Johnson of Saffell.

Melanie McKuin of Dexter, Mo. McKuin, a junior at Williams, is majoring in English.  She is the daughter of Barry and Kim McKuin of Dexter.

Maggie Morgan of Mammoth Spring, Ark. Morgan, a junior at Williams, is majoring in liberal arts.  She is the daughter of Charles and Tami Morgan of Mammoth Spring.

Andrew Taylor of Myrtle, Mo. Taylor, a junior at Williams, is majoring in business administration.  He is the son of Jeffery and Judy Taylor of Myrtle.
