The AMC Athletic Trainer of the Year award is bestowed upon a NATA-certified athletic trainer who exemplifies the highest standards of personal conduct and professional allied health service to athletes within the AMC. Additionally, she serves as an adjunct physical education instructor, a position she has held since 2008.

Colvey’s commitment to professional growth and involvement is evident through her active membership in esteemed organizations such as the National Athletic Trainers’ Association, Southwest Athletic Trainers’ Association (District 6), Arkansas Athletic Trainers’ Association,

and the NAIA Athletic Trainers’ Association. Her dedication to ongoing education and collaboration further exemplifies her commitment to excellence in the field of athletic training.
