PBL Elects Officers at Williams

Phi Beta Lambda, a society for business students at Williams Baptist University, has elected its officers for the 2018-2019 school year. The group selected Allen Thompson as president, Kole Meador as vice president for philanthropy, Kelly Cook as vice president for fundraising, Georgia Mara as secretary, Grady Majors as treasurer, Bailey Eubanks as director of communications, Andrew Taylor as director of competitive events, and Ashton Kennedy as director of recruitment.

Thompson, who is a junior, is from Brighton, Ill.  He is the son of Rodney and Judy Thompson of Brighton.

Meador, who will be a junior, is from Hillsboro, Mo.  He is the son of Kevin Meador of Hillsboro and Tracey Kolano of House Springs, Mo.

Cook, who is a senior, is from Pangburn, Ark.  She is the daughter of Alan and Janet Cook of Nashville, Ark.

Mara, who will be a junior, is from North Little Rock, Ark.  She is the daughter of Steven Mara of Sherwood and Julie Mara of North Little Rock.

Majors, who is a junior, is from Batesville, Ark.  He is the son of Cory and Sherry Majors of Batesville.
Eubanks, who is a junior, is from Brookland, Ark.  She is the daughter of Boyd and Dana Duvall of Brookland.

Taylor, who is a freshman, is from Myrtle, Mo.  He is the son of Jeffrey and Judy Taylor of Myrtle.
Kennedy, who will be a senior, is from Blytheville, Ark.  He is the son of Tony and Christie Kennedy of Blytheville.

Phi Beta Lambda is the collegiate branch of Future Business Leaders of America. It provides a network for business students to pursue personal development and explore career options in the business field, as well as providing an outlet for community service.

Williams is a liberal arts university in Walnut Ridge. It will formally become Williams Baptist University in July.
