Clayton, Marlow Named 2024 Founders Award Winners

Cassidy Clayton and Joel Marlow have been awarded the 2024 Founders Awards at Williams Baptist University. Thomason is from Walnut Ridge, Ark., and Marlow is from Pocahontas, Ark. WBU President Dr. Stan Norman presented the awards during the university’s commencement exercises on Saturday, May 4.

Founders Award winners are selected from each graduating class at Williams.  Recipients are chosen by a vote of the faculty and administration as outstanding representatives of the university and its ideals.

Clayton, a Coe Scholar, graduated with a double major earning both a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Bachelor of Arts in History. She plans to pursue a master’s degree in english. She is the daughter of Van and Terri Clayton.

Marlow, a Coe Scholar, received his Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministries with a concentration in Biblical-Theological Studies and plans to further his studies at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He is the son of Steven and Karen Marlow.

WBU is a private, Christian university in Walnut Ridge, Ark.
